Location:On US 41, 2 miles south of Osprey.
Facilities:Full-facility campsites, primitive camping area (tents only) foryouth/adult groups, beach, boat ramp (canoes and kayaks only),canoe/kayak rentals, multi-use trails, nature trail with butterflygardens (é), pavilions, picnic areas, 3 playgrounds (é),restrooms (é), showers, visitors/nature center.
Activities:Camping, canoeing/kayaking, freshwater and saltwater fishing, swimming,snorkeling, hiking, bicycling, wildlife viewing, guided canoe tours,interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park's extensive scrubby flatwoods provide habitat for the threatenedFlorida scrub-jay as well as other declining species, including thegopher tortoise, gopher frog, and indigo snake.
