Najafabad

a city in Iran in the ostan (province) of Isfahan, on the highway to Iraq. Population, 46,000 (1971). Najafabad is the trade center of an agricultural region (primarily the raising of almonds, apricots, walnuts, grapes). Dried fruits are produced.
