Mullet, Alfred B.

(1834–1890)Supervised architects in the federal program and designed many new public buildings. He was the architect of the State, War and Navy Building, now the Old Executive OfficeBuilding, adjacent to the White House, and the St. Louis Post Office and Customs House, now since adapted. He also designed offices for the Baltimore Sun (1856), Baltimore, MD, in the Beaux-Arts Renaissance manner.
