[mə′dəl·ə·rē ′kȯrd] (anatomy) Dense lymphatic tissue separated by sinuses in the medulla of a lymph node. (embryology) A primary invagination of the germinal epithelium of the embryonic gonad that differentiates into rete testis and seminiferous tubules or into rete ovarii.
