Nexus PlayerA streaming set-top box from Google introduced in 2014. Manufactured by Asus and running Google's Android TV platform, Nexus Player supports numerous entertainment apps downloaded from the Google Play store, including Pandora, Netflix, Hulu, along with news and entertainment channels. It also allows users to Google Cast (stream) content from their laptops and mobile devices to the TV. A gamepad controller for video games is optional.
