Kobu
an urban-type settlement in Apsheron Raion, Azerbaijan SSR, 7 km from the Khyrdalan railroad station, on the Baku-Makhachkala line. Population, 5,000 (1970). It is the site of a sheep-breeding sovkhoz. There is carpet-weaving.
