Kochkor-Ata

an urban-type settlement in the Lenin-Dzhol Raion, Osh Oblast, Kirghiz SSR. Located in the western foot-hills of the Fergana Range, on the Frunze-Osh highway, 25 km north of the Tentiaksai Station. Population 12,500 (1972). Petroleum and gas are extracted. Kochkor-Ata has a plastic components factory and a creamery.
