Kokaral

(also Kugaral and Zelenyi Island), an island in the northern part of the Aral Sea. Area, 273 sq km. Elevation, to 163 m (Mount Daut). The island is composed of sandy and clay deposits and is covered with semidesert vegetation. There are fishing settlements on the shore.
