Facilities:70 drive-in campsites (22 with electrical hookups), showers (é),flush toilets (é), 3 walk-in campsites, 10 horsemen's campsites,group camp, 5 camper cabins, hiking trails (35 miles), self-guidedtrail (1 mile), horse trails (27 miles), wheelchair accessible trail (1mile), ski trails (20 miles), snowmobile trails (19 miles), snowshoetrails (7.5 miles), sliding hill, warming house, picnic area, enclosedpicnic shelter, playground, swimming beach, boat launch, boat and canoerentals, ski and snowshoe rentals, visitor center (é), historic sites,interpretive exhibits, gift shop, 100-foot fire/observation tower.

Special Features:The park, a registered National Historic Landmark due to its 9000 yearsof human history and archaeological significance, lies along the RumRiver and encompasses Ogechie and Shakopee lakes. The river, lakes, andtrails provide visitors the chance to see bald eagles, osprey, otters,beavers, loons, deer, bears, coyotes, and many other animals.
