Komsomol’skoe
a city (since 1956) in Starobeshevo Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR; located on the Kal’mius River. It has a railroad station (Karakuba) and is the terminus of the railroad branch from Kuteinikovo (on the Ilovaiskoe-Taganrog line). Population, 15,800 (1971). Flux limestone is quarried there. The city has enterprises of the food industry and an industrial technicum.
Komsomol’skoe
an urban-type settlement in Zmiev Raion, Kharkov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It has a railroad station (on the Kharkov-Krasnyi Liman line). Population, 11,800 (1972). The Zmiev state regional electric power plant is located there. Komsomol’skoe has plants producing building components and assembly parts, a dairy, a bread-baking plant, and a vegetable-growing sovkhoz.
