Megri

an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Megri Raion, Armenian SSR. Located on the Megri River (a tributary of the Araks River), 5 km from the Megri railroad station on the Baku-Yerevan line. A winery, a cannery, a cheese dairy, a silkworm nursery, and a crushed-rock plant are located there.
