Mekhanizatsiia Stroitelstva

(Mechanization of Construction), a monthly scientific-technical and industrial journal of Gosstroi (State Committee on Construction) of the USSR and the Central Administration of the Scientific-Technical Society of the Construction Industry. Published in Moscow since 1939 (with a break between 1941 and 1945). It publishes material on integrated mechanization and automation of construction processes, the operation and repair of construction and road machinery, the level of machinery usage in construction organizations, specialized means of transportation, and the organization of transportation. The journal presents the latest experience gained at construction sites, as well as new methods of planning and economic stimulation in construction, invention and efficiency work, and foreign experience.
