Special Features:Located at the mouth of the Sandy River, the park is named for explorers Lewis and Clark who, on November 3, 1805, examined the Sandy River. A trail climbs the cliffs to Broughton's Bluff, which serves as a geologic boundary between the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range and the Willamette Valley to the west.
