Korenevo

an urban-type settlement and center of Korenevo Raion, Kursk Oblast, RSFSR, on the left bank of the Seim River. Railroad station on the L’gov-Konotop line, 40 km southwest of L’gov. It has a factory for the manufacture of low-voltage equipment, a mill for the processing of groats, a cannery, a creamery, and a building-materials combine.
