Kornin

an urban-type settlement in Popel’niansk Raion, Zhitomir Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Irpen’ River, a tributary of the Dnieper, 5 km from the Krivoe station on the Fastov-Zhitomir railroad line and 60 km southeast of Zhitomir. Kornin has a sugar refinery, a brickyard, and a cheese dairy. Granite is quarried in the area.
