Kovzha Lake

a lake in the northwestern part of Vologda Oblast, RSFSR. Area, 65 sq km; length, 18 km; width, 4 km. The lake has a winding shore line; its western part, from which the Kovzha River flows, has its own name, Lozovskoe Lake. The lake is a route for the floating of timber.
