Kraslava

a city, administrative center of Kraslava Raion, Latvian SSR; a landing on the right bank of the Daugava (Zapadnaia Dvina) River, 3.5 km from the Kraslava railroad station on the Daugavpils-Polotsk line and 274 km southeast of Riga. Kraslava has powdered-milk, wood-processing, and flaxprocessing plants and also produces garments and building materials.
