Special Features:This wild and rugged state forest features deep valleys, steepmountains, and tall trees. From the summit of Spruce Mountain orRaycroft Lookout hikers can view magnificent panoramas of thesurrounding Hoosac and Green Mountains and Deerfield River. DunbarBrook drops 700 feet in two miles, over huge moss-covered boulders thatform waterfalls, rapids, and pools.
