a major enterprise of the Soviet pulp and paper industry, in the city of Krasnoiarsk. Bleached market pulp and semifinished products for paper-making are produced at a bisulfite pulp mill. Between 1965 and 1971 pulp production doubled, paperboard manufacturing increased eightfold, the production of paper rose by 15 percent, and the manufacture of student notebooks increased by 40.5 percent.
