Liaskelia

an urban-type settlement in Pitkiaranta Raion, Karelian ASSR, on the lanisioki River, near the point at which the river empties into Lake Ladoga. Railroad station 42 km northwest of the city of Pitkiaranta. Liaskelia is the site of a pulp-and-paper combine and a meat-and-dairy sovkhoz.
