Králický Snežnik

mountains in the southeastern part of the Sudetes on the border between Poland and Czechoslovakia, rising to an elevation of 1,424 m (Mount Sněžnik).

The mountains are composed chiefly of gneiss and crystalline schist and have steep slopes and dome-shaped peaks. Fir forests predominate. The higher slopes are covered with pine forests, meadows, and barren areas. The Morava River, a left tributary of the Danube, rises in the mountains.
