Location:US 160 west from Pagosa Springs for 17 miles, southwest onto CO 151 for18 miles to the town of Arboles, then 2 miles south on County Road 982.
Facilities:138 campsites, electrical and sewer hookups, showers, 3 cabins, campstore, 25 picnic sites, 2 group picnic areas, snack bar, hiking trail,boat ramp, marina, boat rentals, jet ski rentals, visitor/nature center (é).
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, sailboarding, jetskiing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting (with restrictions), wintercamping, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Navajo Lake extends for 35 miles south into New Mexico and yieldsrecord-size fish in open waters without crowds. While the lake is thefocal point of many of the activities at the park, visitors can alsoview wildlife and see interesting artifacts of the Anasazi Indians, who were the original inhabitants of this area.
