释义 | Lichtenstein, TehillaLichtenstein, Tehilla(1893–1973) religious leader; born in Jerusalem, Palestine (now Israel). She received a B.A. from Hunter College and an M.A. from Columbia University. The leader of the Society of Jewish Science, she was the head of the Congress of Jewish Science and the first woman to occupy a Jewish pulpit in the U.S.A. She was the author of a number of books, including What it Means to Be a Jew (1943) and Choosing Your Way to Happiness (1954). |
