Kulango
Kulango
(also Nkoramfo, Ngorafo; self-designation, Kolambo), a people inhabiting the northeastern regions of the Ivory Coast. They number about 70,000 (1967, estimate). Their language belongs to the central Bantoid group, and in their language and culture they are akin to the Lobi. The majority adhere to traditional religious beliefs (worship of natural forces), although some are Muslims. Their chief occupations are tropical farming (yams, manioc, millet) and animal husbandry.
