K0114800 (ko͝ong, küng), Hans Born 1928. Swiss Roman Catholic theologian. An adviser (1962-1965) during the Second Vatican Council, he was later censored by the Vatican (1979) for his rejection of papal infallibility. His works include On Being a Christian (1976).

a term that indicated in ancient China during the Shang era (16th to 11th century B.C.) the distant ancestors of the kings, the Wangs; and in the Chou era (11th to third century B.C.), the rulers of independent kingdoms. In the feudal society of China, “Kung” was the highest title of nobility. The children of members of the imperial Wang family, who received hereditary domains, were also called Kung.
