Kupiansk-Uzlovoi

an urban-type settlement in Kharkov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Oskol River (a tributary of the Severskii Donets). It is a railroad junction (lines to Kharkov, Valuiki, Belgorod, Popasnaia, and Sviatogorskaia). Population, 15,000 (1971). The settlement has enterprises for the servicing of railroad transport and a building-materials combine.
