Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus
Cincinnatus, Lucius Quinctius Roman patrician. Cincinnatus was consul in 460 B.C. He served as dictator in 458 during the Romans’ war against the Aequii and the Sabines. In 439, when he was again dictator, he suppressed an uprising of the plebeians.
