an urban-type settlement in Apsheronsk Raion, Krasnodar Krai, RSFSR; situated in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus, 27 km northwest of the Khadyzhenskaia railroad station on the Armavir-Tuapse line. Petroleum and gas are extracted in the region of Kutais.
