Facilities:22 basic campsites, 75 electric campsites, showers, organized groupcamp, special use area, 6 camper cabins, picnic sites, 2 picnicshelters (1 open, 1 enclosed), hiking trails, swimming beach, 2 boat ramps.
Activities:Camping, lake fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park is located in the Salt River Hills of northeast Missouri, withrugged terrain reminiscent of southern parts of the state. Limestonebluffs and woodlands overlookthe 18,000-acre Mark Twain Lake. The Mark Twain Birthplace StateHistoric Site (see separate entry) is located adjacent to the park.
