Nash Sovremennik

 

(Our Contemporary), a literary and sociopolitical journal published monthly in Moscow since 1964. An organ of the Writers’ Union of the RSFSR.

Nash sovremennik is a successor to the anthologies God. . . (The Year . ..), which was founded in 1933 by M. Gorky, and Nash sovremennik, which appeared from 1956 to 1963. Novellas, short stories, poems, and articles on current events are among the items featured in the journal. Since 1968, the editor in chief has been S. V. Vikulov. Circulation, 110,000 (1974).
