Menza
(also Minchzhi), a river in the Mongolian People’s Republic (MPR) and in Chita Oblast, RSFSR; left tributary of the Chikoi River (Selenga basin). Length, 337 km; basin area, 13,800 sq km. The Menza rises on the northern slope of the Baga-Khentei Range (MPR). It flows over hilly terrain and has many rapids. It is fed primarily by rain; high water occurs in the summer. The mean flow rate 12 km from the mouth is 89.9 cu m per sec.
