Lund-Browder chart

Lund-Brow·der chart

(lund-brow'dĕr chahrt) A tabular scale used to determine the scope of burns in children.

Lund-Browder chart

An instrument to gauge the percentage of the body of a child that has been burned. In pediatric patients (in whom the body surface area of the limbs and trunk varies with age) this chart provides a more accurate measure of the total body surface area involved by a burn than does the rule of nines.
