Location:15 miles east of Toledo in northern Ohio.
Facilities:Visitor contact station, viewing sites, trails.
Activities:Hunting, trapping, fishing, hiking, educational programs.
Special Features:Up to 70 percent of the Mississippi Flyway population of black ducks can be found int he Lake Erie marshes during fall migration. Large numbers of migrating songbirds stop in the area to rest during their spring migration.
Habitats: 6,350 acres of wetland, native prairie, wooded areas, and open estuary.
Access: Open from dawn to dusk.
Wild life: Canada geese, mallards, teal, wood ducks, American wigeon, canvasbacks, bald eagles, coyotes, and white-tailed deer.
