Cardiology A heart affected by SLE; lupus endocarditis occurs in ±15% of Pts, is due to valve disease and causes hemodynamic alterations in the form of regurgitation; lupus myocardiopathy occurs in 10% of SLE and is manifest by arrhythmias and CHF, linked to HTN. See Systemic lupus erythematosus.
