Special Features:Lacey-Keosauqua is one of Iowa's largest and most picturesque stateparks, whose natural features include hills, bluffs, and valleys alongthe Des Moines River. Overlooking the river in the northwest section ofthe park are 19 burial mounds, built by an ancient group of WoodlandCulture Indians.
