Arosemena Gómez, Otto

Born 1911. Ecuadorian state and political figure. Lawyer, major banker, and industrialist.

In 1965, Arosemena Gómez established the Democratic Institutional Coalition Party, the members of which represented circles tied to the local oligarchy and to imperialism. From 1966 to 1968 he was provisional president of Ecuador.
