Location:In southeastern Massachusetts on the mid-Cape, on Route 6A west near Brewster.

Special Features:Park features eight crystal clear freshwater ponds known as "kettleponds," which are among more than 300 such ponds that were formed asglaciers retreated from Cape Cod more than 10,000 years ago. Theseponds are not fed by rivers or streams, but are completely dependent ongroundwater and precipitation. An 8-mile bike path in the park connectsto the 25-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail.
