Belye Berega

an urban-type settlement in Briansk Oblast, RSFSR, on the Snezhet’ River (Desna basin). A railroad station 30 km southeast of Briansk. Population, 10,000 (1968). Belye Berega has a furniture factory, a paper mill, a cement and concrete plant, and the Briansk State Regional Electric Power Plant.
