Lutugino
Lutugino
a city (since 1960) and the administrative center of Lutugino Raion, Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Ukrainian SSR (Donbas). Population, 14,500 (1972).
Lutugino is located on the O’khovka River in the Severskii Donets basin. It is a station on the Likhaia-Rodakovo railroad line. The city has a plant manufacturing rollers. Coal mining is an important branch of the local economy. The city was named after L. I. Lutugin.
