Mashinovedenie

(Machine Science), a scientific and technical journal; organ of the Division of Mechanics and Control Processes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Published in Moscow since 1965. It appears six times a year. It publishes papers on current methods of analysis and synthesis of mechanisms, machine dynamics, transmission theory, theory of automata, and the use of analog and digital electronic computers in solving problems of machine science, and on accuracy and the theory of reliability in its probabilistic aspect. It also publishes articles on problems of the use of new materials (including composite materials) in machine building. Abstracts in English are published in London. Circulation, 2,600 (1974).
