Location:7 miles northwest of Mayo on the west side of the Suwannee River.
Facilities:Primitive walk-in tent campsites, portable restrooms, boat ramp, trails, picnic areas, pavilions,
Activities:Camping, swimming, snorkeling, boating, canoeing/kayaking,fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing. For certified scubadivers, cave diving is available in the Green Sink cave system.Sometimes during rainy seasons dark river water backs up into thesprings, making the water appear to be black in color. When thishappens, swimming and diving is prohibited.
Special Features:The first magnitude spring, which produces 168 milliongallons of water daily, is the focal point of most recreationalactivities at the park. A short spring-run with a natural limestoneland bridge connects one spring bank to the other. The park alsocontains a mile of Suwannee River shoreline, and a series of sinkholesare located throughout the park.
