Murashi

a city (until 1944, a settlement) and center of Murashi Raion, Kirov Oblast, RSFSR. It is located on the Kirov-Syktyvkar highway, 118 km northwest of Kirov. A railroad station on the Kirov-Kotlas line. Murashi’s industries include a mechanical-repair plant, a creamery, and three logging and timber distribution establishments.
