Meserve, Frederick Hill Meserve, Frederick Hill(1865–1962) collector; born in Philadelphia. A businessman, he built up in his leisure an extraordinary collection of 19th-century photographs and negatives, many related to Abraham Lincoln. He acquired a large part of Mathew Brady's work. |
