Novogrudok Upland
an upland in Grodno Oblast, Byelorussian SSR, between the upper Neman River and its tributaries, the Shchara and Servech’ rivers. Elevations reach 323 m at Mount Putsevichskaia (Mount Zamkovaia). The Novogrudok Upland, which is part of the Byelorussian Shelf, has hilly ridges, composed of morainic and loess-like loams (particularly in the southern part). The surface has been extensively plowed; some pine and mixed forests have been preserved.
