oblique-incidence reflectivity

oblique-incidence reflectivity

[ə′blēk ¦in·sə·dəns ‚rē‚flek′tiv·əd·ē] (optics) The reflectivity of an interface between two media when the direction of propagation of the incident electromagnetic radiation is not perpendicular to the interface; it differs for the component whose electric vector lies in the plane containing the perpendicular to the surface and the propagation direction, and the component for which this vector is perpendicular to this plane.
