Location:East of US 65 near Saint Joseph in Tensas Parish, on the eastern border of Louisiana.
Facilities:12 premium campsites (5 pull-through campsites, 12 prime locationcampsites, all with water and electrical hookup), 13 improvedcampsites, 2 primitive campsites, group camping area, comfort stations,picnic area, covered pavilion, playgrounds, restrooms, swimming beach, bathhouse,boat launch, boat rentals, 3 fishing piers (é).

Special Features:Park features a clear oxbow lake (once part of the Mississippi River)with ancient cypress trees along the shoreline. The site was originallyestablished as a fish hatchery in 1928.
