A rating system of the severity of illness of patients admitted to an ICU. It includes the patient's age, need for vasoconstricting drugs (blood pressure), kidney function, urinary output, coagulation status, oxygenation, need for mechanical ventilation, mental status, liver health, cancer diagnosis (if any), and the presence of mass lesions in the brain.
