Mirzai

a solo folk dance Iranian in origin performed by a single person. It is widespread in Iran, as well as in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. It is in 6/8 or 3/8 time and has a moderate tempo. The mirzai is performed primarily by women. It consists of gentle, flexible movements, with particularly expressive hand gestures.
