Location:Two separate areas on opposite sides of Lake Dardanelle: theRussellville area is located off I-40, exit 81, south and thenimmediately west for 5 miles on AR 326; the Dardanelle Area is 4 mileswest of Dardanelle on AR 22.
Facilities:84 campsites with hookups (65 at Russellville and 19 at Dardanelle),picnic areas, pavilions, bathhouses, marina, boat ramps. In addition,the Russellville area has a fishing pier (é), trail, kayak andbicycle rentals, and visitor center with exhibits.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Lake Dardanelle is a 34,000-acre reservoir on the Arkansas River. Thepark is a National Park Service Certified Trail of Tears site, andguided kayak and party barge tours led by park interpreters allowvisitors to learn about the history of the area, including land routeswhere the Trail of Tears crossed here.
