(noor?o-ak?an-tho'sis, nur?) [? + ?] An autosomal recessive neurological disorder associated with acanthosis of red blood cells beginning between the ages of 25 and 45. It is marked by the development of choreiform movements, oral dystonias, motor and vocal tics, and other neurological abnormalities. Synonym: Levine-Critchley syndrome
